HBCU Day-One-Ready Program

HBCU Day-One-Ready is a college-to-career navigation program driven by near-peer mentoring. Students who attend America's 100+ HBCUs pair up to build skills and grow their network. This hybrid, 10-week internship program is paid and open to HBCU students.

What's the job of a near-peer mentor?

As a Near-Peer Mentor, you join the Day-One-Ready Program to help a first-year schoolmate adapt to college life while building skills and growing your network.

As an HBCU First intern, your job is to help improve the Day-One-Ready Program experience for future interns.

Application deadline is Thursday, November 30th.

What's the job of a first-year intern?

As a First-Year Intern (mentee), you join the Day-One-Ready Program to gain 1-to-1 support in adapting to college life, building skills, and growing your network.

As an HBCU First intern, your job is to help improve the Day-One-Ready Program experience for future interns.
