HBCU Day-One-Ready Program

HBCU Day-One-Ready is a college-to-career navigation program driven by near-peer mentoring and student-led workshops & events. Students who attend America's 100+ HBCUs pair up to build skills and grow their network. This remote, 10-week internship program is paid and open to HBCU students.

What's the job of a near-peer mentor?

As a Near-Peer Mentor, you help a first-year schoolmate adapt to college life while building skills and growing your network.

Your contribution as an HBCU First intern is helping to better the mentoring program experience for the next Near-Peer Mentor.

Applications are due by Monday, May 15th at 11:59pm ET.

What's the job of a first-year intern?

As a First-Year Intern (mentee), you gain 1-to-1 support in adapting to college life, building skills, and growing your network.

Your contribution as an HBCU First intern is helping to better the mentoring program experience for the next First-Year Intern.
